The space The house is one of 4 in a small setting, situated in Chora - the capital of the island. Even though the center of the village is only 5 min's walk away, the houses enjoy complete privacy. The view is undisturbed over the fields to the white village, and to the church of 'Panagia' - the gem of the island - watching over everyone from its mountain-top. The houses are built with traditional techniques, and with stones from the surrounding fields, trying to achieve as little disturbance to the landscape as possible - making the houses 'grow' out of the soil. The solid stone walls provide a pleasant indoor climate, even during the burning summer days - but the houses are equipped with air-condition as well, just in case.
