The luxury double room has a large double-bed, sitting area and generous shower room, with bath robes, toiletries and hair dryer included. There is also an adjacent bathroom with tub. For guest use, there is a dining room, guest kitchenette and a sitting room with books, board games, CD player and smart TV. For the outside areas BBQ facilities & Riverside sauna (booked separately) can be used by guests. The space Lāči, Bear Manor, nestling next to the ancient Livonian Svētupe (translated “sacred river”), 17km from the hanseatic town of Limbaži and 25km from the seaside town of Salacgrīva is in the heart of the northern Latvian countryside and the ideal retreat to relax, read, write, paint, walk, cycle, fish, think or just rejuvenate from the stresses of modern life. The owners of Lāči, Andris and Inga, have refurbished the 19th century stone-built Bear Manor as a labour of love for themselves and their guests to enjoy. Breakfast can be made to order 24 hours in advance. During your stay we are generally available on-site to deal with guest requests or problems. Our main concern is guest privacy, so you can enjoy your stay in peace and quiet and choose how much or how little interaction you desire with the hosts or other guests.
