This is a very cozy, clean, private, one bedroom basement suite. Please note, the ceilings/beams are lower in some areas. The lounging area is spacious and relaxing. Within walking distance to everything downtown, Quadra Island, walking/biking trails, even the whale watching outfitters. 45 mins drive to the chalet on Mt Washington or the cabins in Strathcona Park. An optimum place to make as a base and check out the surrounding areas. Laundry available if notified ahead of time. The space Check in time is variable. If you need to get in before 3pm, please let us know and we can easily arrange that. You will be in the large basement suite. Please park in front of our house and enter the front yard to follow the gravel path to the stairs to the basement. Again, the ceilings are low in some areas, a bedroom and a living room beam are at about 5'5". Guest access The basement suite is private with it's own entrance. You are most welcome to enjoy the front yard, there are tables and chairs for you to use. There are many berries for you to enjoy in the front yard, as well as fresh flowers in our gardens. Other things to note If staying for more than one night, please ask about our discount! Our finest compliments are how clean and nice the suite is. We want our guests to be happy and enjoy our city. A comfortable stay makes or breaks a trip, so please let us know if there is anything you need or that we have forgotten. PLEASE ask if you need more blankets or turn up the heat a little! It is a basement suite and we understand it is cooler in the winter. Extra blankets are in the closet, but we always wash ALL of our bedding after every use. It saves on laundry if you only use the blankets you need. If you do use them, please do not refold them, and leave them out to wash. Registration Details Provincial registration number: H395387540
