Cozy and comfortable room, one mile to downtown.

Comfortable, homey room in quiet neighborhood. The shared bathroom is directly across from bedroom. Home is walking distance from downtown Independence and Riverview Park which hosts multiple activities and places to dine. The Willamette River is a short 1 mile walk and contains a hiking path along the river. Eagles, osprey, merganzers, blue herons and king fishers are often sighted, among others. The space I have made a little eden, full of fragrant flowers, herbs, fruits and vegetables in my backyard. The front yard is also landscaped with a myriad of plants that attract hummingbirds, and butterflies. My home is tastefully decorated, with a homey feel. The queen bed is very comfortable to ensure a good night's sleep. The neighborhood is located in a new subdivision, is quiet and family oriented. A lovely public garden is only a block away and is a pleasant walk. Guest access Guests have full, shared access to the kitchen, living and dining room, laundry room and patio, including use of BBQ, fire pit and outside seating. There is a corn hole game in the backyard and ping pong table in garage. Coffee and tea and use of basic condiments included. Shampoo, conditioner and basic cleaning essentials in bathroom. During your stay I can be reached through Air b and b and also by text or phone call. I enjoy visiting with my guests, but also respect their need for privacy. I work full time and love enjoying the outdoors, so I'm gone frequently. My guests often have much of the house to themselves.
