La Maison au Vert in the Haute Saône The department of Haute Saône belongs to the Franche-Comté region, the former granary of France. The most wooded area in France lies between Alsace in the east, the former regions of Champagne-Ardenne in the north, Bourgogne in the west and the Jura in the south. The slightly hilly green landscape invites you to nature and relaxation. Close to the Canal de l'Est, which is surrounded by a beautiful landscape, ideal for cycling and walking. The cycle paths are very well developed and run alongside the canal past wild river branches, which are originally and left untouched in the lush green of the forests. The longest cycle path in Europe, the Euro Velo 6, runs directly along the canal. The "Boucles de Haute-Sâone" offers 21 well-marked bike paths with a length of 22-62 km. Within an hour you can experience nature and culture in many ways, on the one hand the pretty, historical health resorts such as Luxeuil les Bains and Plombières les Bains, on the other hand the capital of Franche Comté, Besancon. Besancon is always worth a visit. The really breathtaking old town, peppered with cafes and restaurants, the old customs houses on the Doubs, the wonderfully colorful market with local and exotic delicacies. And the historically cultural highlight, the Citadelle as a World Heritage Site. The nearby Vosges and the 1000 lakes and the world-famous Chapelle in Rompchamp are great destinations for excursions in an easterly direction. The oldest, still active glass blowing factory in Europe "La Rochère" is located 15 minutes from Melincourt. In spring the time of the flea markets and the markets for handicrafts begins. Often well located, they invite you to stroll and experience. La Maison au Vert in the small village of Melincourt is located at the end of a small street, in a quiet area, surrounded by greenery. The spacious garden invites you to linger, discover and experience. The house, built in 1806, combines old and new in a harmonious way. There are two residential units available max. 6 persons. Apartment for 2: the detail is important to us. The solid wood furniture from domestic wood, which comes from our own production, creates the basis for a pleasant living ambience, antique individual pieces ensure the harmony between old and new. The high-quality furnishings for bedrooms, bathrooms and tea kitchens combine modern and country house charm. Bright rooms and a view of the green invite you to enjoy. Pure nature and relaxing tranquility allow you to take a break from everyday life. Flat screen and internet access are available.
