The Stables is on the edge of the village of Hellidon in a countryside location in rural Northamptonshire close to the Warwickshire and Oxfordshire border. There are fabulous views from the property. There is private parking. The Stables is a separate annex to our home. You will have your own area of the garden adjacent to the Stables. The space The Stables is a traditional stable barn with Grade 2 listed building status. It has been converted to retain the original character with exposed beams and brickwork. This charming barn has been updated for modern living. There is one bedroom with a king sized bed, dual aspect living room which has a larger than standard sofa bed and dining area, a kitchen and bathroom with bath. The living room and bedroom are on the first floor and the kitchen and bathroom are on the ground floor. Guests have the use of their own area of the garden adjacent to the Stables. Tea/coffee, milk, basic breakfast items, towels and toiletries are provided. There is parking on the premises for 2 cars. Mobile phone signal is rural. There is good wifi. About 200 metres from the house is a lovely village pub the Red Lion which does fantastic food. It is wise to book ahead as it is very popular. Fawsley Hall a high end country house hotel which does fantastic food (especially the afternoon tea) in a fabulous setting is 4 miles away. The Plough in Everdon is an excellent pub with a modern interesting menu - it is about 7 miles away. There are many local village pubs which also have good food. Guest access You will have sole use of the Stables and a part of the garden adjacent to the Stables. There is off street parking. If you intend to bring more than 1 vehicle can you let me know please. Other things to note The Stables is located just on the edge of the village with views to our garden to one side and to a field and the countryside beyond on the other side. The water is heated by a hot water tank ( electric) as there is no mains gas in the village. Once the tank is emptied it will need to reheat. Mobile phone signal is rural. There is good wifi. There are no street lights in the village so it is dark and great for stargazing. If you need a washing machine there is one available in an outbuilding.
