Reservations for stays during transportation disruptions and cancellations; travel advisories and restrictions; health advisories and quarantines; changes to applicable law; and other government mandates—like evacuation orders, border closures, prohibitions on short-term rentals, and shelter-in-place requirements, where the guest or host is currently sick with COVID-19 will be covered under our extenuating circumstances policy. Our extenuating circumstances policy provides full refund for the circumstances mentioned for cancellations up to 3 days before check in date. Reservations for stays that are not related to COVID-19 circumstances not covered in our extenuating circumstances policy. In that case our strict cancellation policy will apply as usual: Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in.
