Welcome to Townsend Barn. The cottage is 5 mins from Devizes & easy to get to Bath, Avebury, Stonehenge, Longleat, Bristol and Salisbury. 𝗣𝗹𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝟭 𝗼𝗿 𝟮 𝗯𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝘀. 𝗜𝗳 𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟮 𝗯𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝘀, 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟯 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲. There are 2 bedrooms with king size beds. In bedroom 2, there is also a single bed. There are 2 bathrooms, each with a bath and a HAND-shower. There is an open plan kitchen / sitting room, a TV and WiFi throughout. The space Kitchen/Sitting room with breakfast bar for dining. Seating for 4 people. TV in sitting room and Bedroom 1. WiFi throughout. In the event that the WiFi is interrupted you may switch to 4g, which is available in this area. Guests have their own private entrance to the property and can enjoy the use of the terrace with a table and chairs and a BBQ and extensive gardens to the rear. There is a decrepit tennis court with a cricket net in one corner. It’s possible to play basic tennis but the area is probably better used for other ball games. The seating and bedding contains feathers and we cannot guarantee the absence of other common allergens in and around the property. During or immediately after your booking: Any damage or spillage to/within the property must be notified to the landlord as soon as is practicable. In the event the landlord is required to clean or repair anything in the rented space beyond normal wear and tear; the tenant will be billed for this work. WE DO NOT PROVIDE CHARGING FACILITIES FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES. GUESTS ARE KINDLY ASKED TO SOURCE A SUITABLE FACILITY NEARBY. Guest access Parking for one car is available on the outer concrete forecourt (NOT gravel driveway). If you require additional parking please let us know. The parking area is shared on weekdays with staff and parents coming to the children’s nursery so sometimes it can be quite busy. Whilst we want you to enjoy your stay in total comfort - we expect you to adhere to some code of responsibility regarding energy costs, which would include curtailing excessive use of heating, hot water and cooking. Airbnb does not yet support the application of energy tariffs on people with LX cars or a disposition towards constantly requiring a Caribbean climate but please be considerate in this regard. Within the holding there is a children's nursery which has separate play areas and gated access to the main garden. During clement weather [supervised] children visit the garden for recreational group activities. Week days only. For Safeguarding purposes we ask guests to NOT take photographs of the nursery children or staff. There are 3 small dogs that live on our property and it should be noted that they have free access to the gardens at front and rear. Whilst we do make every effort to clear up after them visitors should bear in mind that this operation is not always 100% successful.
