The chalet also has its own wellness area with sauna and a ski room with ski boot warmer. There is ample parking at the chalet. In summer as well as in winter, Mühlbach am Hochkönig, part of the Unesco Geopark "Ore of the Alps", is an ideal starting point for your vacation! There are many opportunities for mountain bikers, golfers, hikers, glacier skiers, paragliders and those seeking peace and quiet in the immediate vicinity. In winter, you can reach the slopes of the Hochkönig ski area in just a few minutes by car, a ski area with guaranteed snow and more than 120 km of slopes as well as numerous picturesque mountain huts. The family and small ski areas of Hinterreit and Hochkeil also offer a special charm. In summer, the outdoor pool in Mühlbach, the Sommerstein adventure outdoor pool in Maria Alm, the Seespitz and Thumersbach lidos on Lake Zell in Zell am See or Lake Goldegg offer plenty of bathing fun! There are enough shops for daily needs and a good selection of restaurants right in the town, and you can reach the state capital of Salzburg in around 1 hour by car.
