Description
My home is a characterful and spacious pet friendly stone cottage in a tiny quiet street. There are 3 comfy bedrooms, a full kitchen and lounge with dining table and Smart TV. It is a peaceful street with parking nestled in Amble. A short walk takes you to the high street, harbour and beaches. Amble, known as "The Friendliest Port", has made the Sunday Times Top 10 Seaside Places to Live List. Northumberland has won Gold in the British Travel Awards, so come and see what all the fuss is about! The space Big lounge-dining room with modern reclining sofas and footstools for seating 6 comfortably. The TV is Smart, with a wide range of apps available for guests to log in using their own accounts. A selection of books and games for all ages are provided too. There is a well equipped kitchen in a country cottage style with modern touches. The house provides all the amenities I have in my own home, plus a full sized dishwasher to save you the hassle of washing up. There is a small private yard to the front which can get a lot of sunshine and is ideal for lazy mornings and summer BBQs. The rear of the property provides privacy and a place to sit or eat. Please note the hot tub was removed for the year 2026. There are 3 bedrooms and a family bathroom upstairs. The bathroom has a thermostatic shower in addition to a traditional bathtub depending on your needs. The 3 bedrooms all contain double beds. The largest room has an additional single bed, meaning it can be used for small children, treating the room as a Twin room, or (as it is a quality memory foam mattress) has been praised by guests with bad backs. Utility room washing facilities are provided in the garage for wet and sandy pets who need some extra attention. The street has no passing traffic so is a very safe area for children and pets. Amble has a wide range of shops for you, from unique gift shops and boutiques providing local goods, to brand named convenience stores if you have forgotten anything for your trip. The high street is an easy walk away, but parking is free for 1 hour outside the shops if you would prefer. The take aways and restaurants provide an enormous range of options too, from quick and tasty to award winning dining. Guest access Guests have full and private use of the whole house, with large storage spaces under the stairs for coats and shoes, and additional space in the garage/utility- great for bicycle storage. This room is also suitable for washing muddy clothes, boots and filling buckets for mucky dogs with a sink and a hose for guests. Other things to note There is one parking space outside the property. This is large enough for almost any car but you must park with consideration for our 2 neighbours getting past on the lane. There are other spaces available in a council car park 2 minutes away or on the street this small terrace comes off from. All of these spaces are free all day. The next door neighbour has access through the garage to take the bins out on Tuesday. Please make sure there is room for them and be aware you may see them passing through the garage. They do not have access to the house or yard (Assuming you keep the door closed!)
