Country Farm Cottage

A Luxury 1850's detached spacious Farm Cottage situated in the owners grounds down a quiet country lane in a quaint Lancashire village. Please note: the 5 seater hot tub is subject to an additional charge please see details in other things to note. Equidistant and a short drive (15-20 mins) to the sea side town of Blackpool and the historic city of Lancaster. Less than a 10 minute drive to Poulton-Le-Fylde. Pet friendly (£20 per dog per stay) with ample parking. Local pub 1/2 mile away. The space This was our much loved home where we raised our family. It oozes with character and charm and has been lovingly restored by us with the upmost care and attention providing the perfect mix of traditional and contempory living. Boasting a large farmhouse kitchen with seating for 8, gas range cooker, fridge freezer and dishwasher, 2 lounges one with a log burner the other with a gas fire, a downstairs toilet and utility room with washer and drier. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, one super king sized bed with en-suite overlooking our field, one king sized bed with sofa bed (only suitable for 2 children or 1 adult), one double bed and family bathroom with free standing bath, toilet and a separate shower cubicle. Guest access There is a large garden/orchard to the side of the property which has climbing frame, swings and slide for our younger guests to use if supervised by an adult and not for use for anyone over 12 years old. These may be used at the guests own risk. Other things to note The bedding for all 3 beds will be provided for bookings of 6 guests or less, guests between 7-8 one set of sofa bedding will also be provided the guest numbers doesn’t include infants, this assumes they will use travel cots (we only have one travel cot). Please note the sofa bed is only suitable for 2 children or 1 adult. If additional sofa bed bedding is required please message me to request this there will be an additional £20 charge. All overnight guests must be approved in advance through the booking in system. A well behaved dog may be agreed in the property beforehand providing it remains downstairs and is not allowed on the furnishings or left unattended in the cottage or allowed to roam free in the garden and must remain on a lead outside the property grounds. We ask guests with dogs to clean up in the garden after their dog before leaving the cottage. A £20 per dog charge per stay payable before stay. The 5 seater hot tub is subject to an additional charge this allows us to keep the rental price competitive for guests not requiring this facility during their stay. Message us to book the hot tub, prices start at £150 for up to 7 nights and £200 for up to 14 nights. The children’s climbing frame, swings and slides are for our young guests to use whilst being supervised an adult and are not to be used by anyone over the age of 12 years old and used at your own risk. The owners are not responsible for injury sustained or the loss or damage to belongings of the guests during their stay.
