Xhosa Easy Homestays

This is a village home-stead with a big main house where you would sleep. Your bedroom is quiet and spacious. You will be hosted by my lovely family who is used to hosting. This is an authentic village experience - so do expect domestic animals in the yard, laughter among the family, being checked-upon, sharing meals and heartfelt conversations at times, and friendly faces of neighbors keen for a chat at times. Your privacy & peace of mind come first though! The space This space offers a unique experience of unspoiled natural beauty and tranquility which is usually absent from the busy city life. The guests get to unwind, relax and re-energize while spending time in a presence of a present, friendly and accommodating family. You will have plenty morning crisp air, breath-taking sunsets and plenty opportunities for a walk/jog. Guest access The guests will also have access to the traditional main house - the rondavel. This is where they can interact with the family, get to experience and learn more about the Xhosa culture and Qitsi village life should they wish so! During your stay The stay is social, and the guests are more than welcome to move around the yard. Most importantly though, their privacy, comfortability and personal space come first. Other things to note There are dogs, sheep, goats and chickens in the yard. There is a 2 year old boy as well.
