Bush Retreat just outside Maun,sleeps 2 (+ 2 kids)

Motswiri Cottage. Enjoy the calls of the fish eagles by day and the owls by night. We are situated 10 Km from Maun on the Ghanzi road on a large & shady property next to the Thalamakane river. Perfectly positioned within 15 mins of Maun, however it is essential to have your own car to reach us. The cottage sleeps 2 adults & 2 children on a sofa bed in the lounge. The space You will stay in a fully equipped self catering cottage with rustic charm and a lovely view. We have no noisy villages or bars close by to disturb you at night. Instead you will be able to hear the owls, frogs and hippos. The house has plenty of space around it to enjoy a camp fire at night. Should you not feel like cooking, you can drive 5 minutes to the Delta Rain campsite, pool and bar and enjoy a meal. We have a private road you can use without leaving the property. Because of hippos and elephants, you should not walk around at night. Guest access Our property is large and you are welcome to explore the paths under the trees to enjoy the birdlife. It is easy to get a taxi out here but not so easy the other way round. There are two other occupied cottages close by, and so you will hear the sound of everyday family life complete with children and dogs. We have WiFi at the cottage, it is not high speed but good enough for basic needs. Now and then we experience interruptions to the service but it’s a small price to pay for being surrounded by nature. There are no laundry facilities in the cottage, however on weekdays we can launder your clothes and return them dried and folded.
