"Sofia's house", 82 sq.m., is located on the provincial road of Afissos Lefokastro. Built in an olive grove, on the hill of Prophet Elias, next to the chapel. 100 meters from the sea. Ideal place for a vacation. The blue of the sea blends with the silver green of the olive tree. On foot or by car you can reach the nearby beaches of Ampovos, Razi, Agia Efthymia. Swimming in the rocks, going down the stairs of our property... Rental period May until October 10th. The space "Sofia's house" is located in a 5-acre olive grove. Altitude 30 meters from the sea. It reaches the sea, on a rocky shore, 100 meters. It has three rooms, a small living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. There are closets in the rooms. The 1st room has 2 single beds. The second one has a double and a single bed. The 3rd has a double bed. The exterior is configured on two levels. On the first level is the large courtyard. On the second level, two paved areas and the barbecue. One paved with an umbrella and the other near the cedar. For fit feet, it is recommended to descend to the rocky shore of the olive grove for a swim or to enjoy the view. Descent time 1 minute and twice the ascent time. Guest access "Sofia's house-To spiti tis Sofias" you reach via Afissos. a) Cross the coastal road of the village to Abovos beach. Before the beach parking lot, there's a sign to Lefokastro. Take this road and when you reach a point where there is a house with a wooden door in front of you, turn right on an uphill road. Continue and after the end of the uphill route you will find an intersection with a new road, on your right. Take the new road and at the end of it is the house. b) If you follow the first route and do not turn left at the parking lot of Abovos beach, but continue straight and parallel to the beach, you will encounter a rather difficult and uphill turn, which again leads to Prophet Elias and the accommodation. c) You can choose the route via Lefokastro to avoid the uphill. It's 20 minutes longer. Take the road to Argalasti, that is, continue to move on the provincial road from Volos without entering Afissos. You pass Afetai and continue to move on the provincial road. Ignore any GPS instructions. Soon you will see a sign to Argalasti. Take this direction. You pass outside Sikis and continue to move on the same road. You will find a sign on your right that will say Lefokastro. You arrive at Lefokastro and continue on your right towards Afissos. After 6 minutes and after passing three beaches you reach "Sofia's house". Easy access by car to the beaches of Razi, Agia Efimia in 2 minutes and Lefokastro in 6 minutes. Nearby villages for beautiful getaways are: Argalasti, Afetes, Neochori, Milies, Kala Nera. Visitor access "Sofia's house" is reached through Afissos. a) Cross the coastal road of the village to Ambovos beach. Before the beach parking lot you will see a sign to Lefokastro. You take the new road and at the end of it is the house. b) If you follow the first route and do not turn left at the parking lot of the beach of Ambovos, but continue straight and parallel to the beach, you will find a quite difficult and uphill turn, which again leads to Sofia's house. c) You can choose the route through Lefokastro to avoid the uphill. It is 20 minutes longer. You take the road to Argalasti, which means that you continue on the provincial road from Volos without entering Afissos. You pass Afetai and continue on the provincial road. Ignore any GPS instructions. Soon you will see a sign for Argalasti. You take this direction. You pass out of Siki and continue on the same road. You will come across a sign on your right that says towards Lefokastro. You reach Lefokastro and continue on your right towards Afissos. After 6 minutes and after passing three beaches you reach "Sofia's house". We recommend the third option, because it is the first time you are visiting the house Other things to note Afissos is a well-known seaside tourist resort and is located 26 km from the city of Volos via the coastal road. At first glance, Afissos is reminiscent of an island. Its beaches (Kallifteri and the pebbled Amovos) as well as the white houses contribute strongly to this. The coastal road is full of taverns, ouzeries, cafes, restaurants and bars. There's a market and a bakery. Street vendors of fruit, vegetables and fish pass by "Sofia's house" every day. You can easily stop them to shop. In communication with the bakery, you have the possibility to have bread, cheese pies and buns delivered to your door. Argalasti is also ideal for dining, entertainment and shopping. Every Saturday there is a farmers' market with local producers. Argalasti has a Health Center and pharmacies.
