Set in lovely countryside, the Stables Flat is a private one bedroom apartment decorated in a modern style. It is part of a stable yard that is no longer in use. Guests and their dogs are welcome to enjoy the paddocks and small patch of woodland that form part of the property. There are lots of circular country walks including dog friendly pubs and the Bolney wine estate and cafe. Being close to the A23 and A272, gives easy access to Brighton, Hickstead, Gatwick and Nymans gardens. The space The Stable Flat has its own entrance off Colwood Lane. It has spacious car parking for two cars and a patio garden. It also has the vacant stabling block and riding school and paddocks, so that the overall impression is of spaciousness. There is a raised bed vegetable garden on the riding arena. The property is all electric and hence does not need a carbon monoxide detector. It has a separate bathroom with a bath with a shower over it. There is a shower over the bath with a glass shower screen. The aspect is rural with quiet country lanes, many trees and much bird and other animal life. However it is close to major transport links and it's convenience for most of mid-Sussex. Guest access Guests have sole use of the whole flat. It is accessed via its own private drive. Guests also have access to the paddocks and small wood adjoining the stable yard. Dogs are welcome to explore the grounds. Be aware that the fencing is not totally dog proof and take this into consideration if letting your dog off the lead. Other things to note We have external CCTV to ensure security around the property when it is vacant. This should be switched off when guests are in residence. If we forget to switch it off, the control box is under the TV. Please do switch it off. We love having dogs to stay but please make sure you include them on the booking so we can make the flat pet friendly. We are sorry but we no longer accept cats due to the damage caused to curtains and furniture.
