The Cabin. Short Walk into Dunvegan Village.

The Cabin offers a well equipped and rather special, comfortable space to relax after a day exploring the Isle of Skye. We offer thoughtful touches including a welcome pack of local produce to make your stay extra special. The cabin is located in our garden and is a short walk from the village, with its small local shops and a great selection of eating-out options. The space The Cabin is on the edge of the popular village of Dunvegan on the quiet North West of the Isle of Skye with views across the garden towards MacLeods Tables mountains and Loch Dunvegan. The accommodation offers the perfect retreat for a couple or solo traveller. The Cabin has a bed-sitting room which includes a king sized bed and oak clothes storage. There is a 2 seater sofa and footstool, small TV with freesat channels and a table and stools for dining. The kitchenette has a 2-ring gas hob, combination microwave oven and full sized fridge with freezer compartment. The shower room offers a large shower cubicle. The cabin has central heating and thoughtful touches including black-out blinds for the light summer nights. We have an on-site laundry separate from The Cabin, available at a small extra charge for our guests. The property is within easy walking distance of the village amenities including the Old School Restaurant if you fancy a night off from the cooking. You can walk to the famous Dunvegan Castle and gardens or take a short trip to the nearby Coral Beach. Boat trips go from the castle in the summer to spot the seals in Loch Dunvegan. The world-renowned Three Chimneys restaurant is less than 5 miles away. The area is a haven for walkers and wildlife enthusiasts and has beautiful views wherever you go. Just a little further away (about a 25-30 minute drive) is the capital town of Portree with a good selection of restaurants and shops. Whatever you choose to do on this fabulous island, a warm welcome will await you on your return to this cosy apartment. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the cabin and are welcome to enjoy the shared garden area. There is free on-site parking about 25 metres away from the entrance to The Cabin. It takes less then 5 minutes to walk down our track to get to the edge of the village with its small shops and eating places. Other things to note There is free parking and Wifi for guests. Please note that Wifi may not be as fast as you may be used to in a city environment. We provide towels, bed linen, a welcome pack of food and essentials such as locally handmade soap, washing up liquid and toilet rolls. We are happy to store bikes in the dry for you. The apartment has a combination microwave that a has grill and convection oven options and a fridge with small freezer compartment. We have games and books available. Registration Details HI-30072-F
