LEUVEN, Family Riverhouse " CERULI"

RIVERHOUSE CERULI A charming landhouse in cul-de- sac with only four houses at the entrance of the natural park (Doode Bemde) along the river Dijle., just outside the village. 10 minutes walk from a large magical wood ( Meerdaalbos) and from the train station : Leuven ( 10’) , Brussels ( 35’) Gent ( 60’) , Bruges (80’). Three rooms ( two double beds , two single beds) Other things to note WELCOME IN RIVER HOUSE CERULI PRACTICAL INFORMATION 1. Kitchen Instruction for the oven can be found in the top drawer next to the fridge. The right front plate of the stove does not work. Empty the fridge and unplug before you leave. Don"t leave food in the fridge or the cupboards. Empty the waste bin Put compost in the back of the garden in the compost bin next to the wood shed Paper goes in the grey bin in the storage next to the kitchen. Milk and juich cartons , tins and plastic bottles in the blue bag in the garage . Thin plastic in the pink bag in the garage. Non recyclable waste in the black bin in the garage. Glass in the container in the Stationstraat in the village. ( see map) 2. Living room You find wood for the fireplace in the wood shed in the garden. Empty the fireplace after use and put the ashes in the compost bin in the garden. Very young children are not allowed to play the piano. Books can be looked at, but handle them with care and put them back please. In the right upper drawer of the large cupboard you find city maps and all kinds of information . 3. Bedrooms In the middle room is a television and DVD player In the last room the two beds can be separated. Please leave the two big window closed for your own safety .! 4. Garden The garden seats and - tables can be found in the garage and the greenhouse. Put everything inside when you leave. 5. Keys The front door key is in a grey safe attached to the terrace wall next to the drainpipe. You will get the code from Sara to open it. When you leave you put the key back in it and close the safe. 6. Wifi Code. VTCaQØrnYØVB. ( Ø is number zero ) 7. Shops At 400 m distance in the village you find a Delhaize store with everything you need ( food, bread ...) Open from Tuesday till Saturday from 8.30 to 18.30. Monday from 13.30 till 18.30 Sunday from 8.30 till 12.30 8. Train Twice an hour there is a train to Leuven and to Wavre. ( less frequently on the weekends ) You find the schedule on Internet belgiantrain.be or on the timetable at the platform in the station , 7 minutes walk from home. From Leuven you can have a connection to Brussels ( 20 ') to Gent ( 60') to Bruges ( 80') to Ostend ( 1h45') to Antwerp ( 50').... 9. The house is non smoking . Animals are not allowed. Respect the quiet neighborhood and handle the house as if it were your own. You can use herbs, tea, oil ...but be so kind to replace what you have usedit for the guests after you. Good to know : our garden is next to the working place of the nice people who maintain the nature park every single day. Please inform us of any items broken or lost, so we can replace them .
