Cosy and relaxed, enjoying the piece and quite surroundings at your own private terras and enjoy our clourful garden with flowers and an amazing vieuw! Near the Nationaal Park de Weerribben, Giethoorn and the famous Dutch tulipfields. Our little house has been designed in an old Dutch style with a spacious 1-persbedclosed , which we call : bedstee and a second separate bed and private separate douche-toilethaus/ bathroom, thee-en coffiemaker, small refrigerator, tv, wifi. The space Welcome in our old, small B & B in old dutch style. De B & B has been made up with all modern comforts, like tableware, a coffeemaker and a waterboiler to make you some tea. Furtheron you'll find yourself towels and washingcloths and all sorts of readingmaterials and family-games, when you're not interested in watching the TV, which is also available. The B & B is fitted with a beautifull oldfashioned closedbed for one person with a size of 1m. by 2,05m. so It's a very large one person bed. The second bed is beneath the closedbed. To use both beds as one ; you pull out the bed underneath and than you can bring it up electrically to the same hight as the closedbed. U push them next to eachother and than put the brake on it. So you will have a very large twinbed at the same hight of eachother. This way the large bed won't take to much space when you are not asleep. We also have featherfilled coushens, which we don't use standard because of allergies, but if you ask for them, there for your use. Furtheron there are slippers. The ensuite bathroom is also fitted with all oldfashioned sink and mirrors and so on, but its also fitted with all modern facilities, like a hairdryer, lights at the mirrorspace for shaving. The B & B has it's own private terras with a stunning vieuw at the old Southernseedyke and the green landscapes with the National Park "De Weerribben" in the distance. Guest access Besides your own private B & B small cottage with your own private terras, and your own private bathroom, you can also make use of our beautiful garden. Other things to note Welcome to our old, small B & B in grandmother's style, which is 1.7 kilometers outside the tiny village of Blankenham, direction: Kuinre, on the border of the old country and the new Land at the old Southern See dike. The farmhouse is located on the edge of the beautiful National Park ' De weerribben ', a beautiful unspoiled swamp area with the largest floating Marsh forest of Europe. The National Park connects the beautiful villages like , giethoorn, Kalenberg, ossenzijl Blankenham and of course with each other, inter alia through a number of beautiful bike and shipping routes. Since we live quite remote, there arn't any busses driving to our house! The nearest trainstation is in Steenwijk. The busses from Steenwijk to Giethoorn drive freqeuntly, also on a Sunday. It 's a difficult ride by bus from Giethoorn to the neerest busstop in Kuinre (3 km. from Blankenham), while it takes almost about an hour by bus, while by car it's a 20 min. drive, so that's why we will provide you with transportation for the same fair as the bus (busfair ( € 8,- p.p.), if we have the time, if not we refer you to the use of the OV-taxi. It's a local taxi and much cheaper than a normal taxi. It will bring you from Steenwijk or Giethoorn to our house if you make reservations for it in time : at least one hour before you want to leave. tel.nr. +(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) Nearby is a large amount of natural beauty characterized by the old Southern See dike that meanders through the vast landscape as a result of the former dike breaches, leaving to the Marsh side of the dike (the old country) several water reservoirs. The Southern See route used by many Dutch and others is cycled, runs a few kilometres away from the B & B, where you drive through beautiful Kalenberg that with its 52 bridges brings to mind the small village giethoorn, also called "Dutch Venice".
