Cosy, peaceful, spacious en-suite rooms!

Two large adjoining attic rooms, one with double bed, the other as a sitting room that can serve as an additional double bed room, fee by negotiation. A microwave, fridge and tea making facilities are provided. The main bedroom is offered en-suite. PLEASE NOTE, we require a minimum of at least 3 verification levels re identity before we will consider a booking. In addition, we appreciate some detail as to your reasons for visiting N'pton and what your expectations might be. The space Watkin Terrace is a unique property, the only house of its design in town and built by John Watkin in the late 1800s to accommodate his Mother. We back onto the largest open public park in town - Northampton Racecourse - and yet we are only 5 mins walk from the town centre, thus having the best of both worlds! Northampton railway station is approx 25 min walk away, the bus station only 15 mins. both offering very easy routes to London, Cambridge, Oxford and Birmingham. The Formula One Racetrack, Silverstone, is a short 20 drive away. The property is only 10mins walk from both Northampton Derngate and Royal theatres. Northampton Saints Rugby ground is a 20 min walk and approximately the same distance to Northants County cricket ground! We are where we are; if our location is not a 5 star choice for you, please consider an alternative booking! The two attic rooms are linked by a door and therefore we generally only let one room as a double and offer the second as a sitting room. The sitting room can however be easily prepared as an additional double bedroom at an additional cost should you need it. Guest access Access to the kitchen is offered and the dining room on occasion. The large garden is offered as a lovely retreat during the summer months. During your stay We love to receive new and interesting guests and will certainly enjoy the dialogue. That said, we also respect the desire for a peaceful, undisturbed stay and we will facilitate that where required! We particularly welcome international travellers. Other things to note Access to London in particular is easy with the London Midland train service and takes 55 mins to Euston Station. Birmingham is 50 mins to the north. Journey time by car to Cambridge and Oxford approx 45 mins. Silverstone Racetrack is an easy journey from the town; it is advisable to book early for these track events as town accommodation becomes severely strained at these moments.
