stone cottage in pierian mountains

The space This is a two level small house with fireplace, a kitchen/living room area with a pull out couch (queen size bed) and a bathroom are on the entry level. An open space bedroom and bathroom w/shower at the lower level which opens up into a shared backyard. The house is situated at one of the highest points in the middle of the traditional village of Elatochori. It is a 15 minute drive from the ski slopes and hiking trails in the Pierian Mountains, and 35 minutes from the beach. Aross the parking lot from the house is an Inn & Lodge, The Pierian Muses, where you can acess an outdoor pool, indoor jacuzzi,gym, lovely lounge for coffee/tea/hot cocoa or drinks, as well as a game room. Putting this house up for rent was a big step for me.....it is my own private getaway! I only hope that others can appreciate this small haven because it gives you the opportunity to be away from the masses and close to nature while at the same time giving you the choice of mingling just a few steps away! Coffees, milk, bread and cereals plus local jams will be available, as well as burning wood for the fireplace. There are 3 restaurants w/in the old town and coffee and drinks are available in the different Inns and in the one bar in town. The New Town of Elatochori is only walking distance as well, and you can find grocery stores, butcher, cafe, bakery and so on there. Enjoy!
