Nice mid-century brick home near FHU, shopping
Safe and convenient 1960's brick ranch style home is located 3/10 mile from Freed-Hardeman University. Large yard with off-street parking in back. Spacious and quality built with hardwood floors and tile baths. Located on a main street, so there is the possibility of some traffic noise. It is also near shopping, groceries and an easy walk to the downtown area. Guests will have access to the entire house with the exception of the owner's storage bedroom. There are no shared spaces. The space This listing is for the house I grew up in. It was well constructed in 1960 and there have been few updates since. It is NOT a new and modern space. However, it has a vintage charm for those who appreciate. It is also clean, comfortable, and safe. The house is conveniently located for several destinations in Henderson and surrounding area. Freed-Hardeman University is within easy walking distance, as are the downtown shops and restaurants. The house is located near the intersection of highways 45 and 100. We are also a 10-minute drive from the Walmart super center in south Jackson. We are just a phone call or text away if you need anything at all. Guest access The entire home space is open to guests with the exception of the owner's storage bedroom. There is a large backyard. Please park on the driveway area that runs from the side to the back of the house. The enclosed garage in back is used for the owner's storage. It will not be accessible to guests. Other things to note This is one of only a few residential homes remaining in a mostly commercial area. There are no residential neighbors in close proximity. The corner lot next door is vacant. The property next door is commercial but is currently unoccupied. The adjoining back property is commercial composed of multiple storage units.
