Proper flushing loo in hut, walk in thermostatic shower and sink in an adjacent shed. Meet/feed our chickens, collect fresh eggs if available (small charge!). Fully insulated/doubleglazed, thermostat controlled heating, hot/cold running water, electric kettle, toaster, 240v mains, tv, dvd, fridge freezer, camp cooker, free WiFi, outside dining, barbie, firepit Slippers advised, floor can be a bit cold in winter. Please note, in freezing weather the shower may not be available. The space Our hut is situated in a landscaped side garden to a beautiful remote Victorian cottage. Leaving our property you step into woodland designated a site of special scientific interest - you can walk or cycle for miles! Or come and see our resident chickens! Please note that the £10 charge for additional guests does not apply to those under 12 years old. When booking number of guests just include number that are 12 or over. There is a fire pit, small barbecue and outdoor eating area. Wood is available to collect or for purchase. Double bed with memory foam mattress and privacy curtains. Clothing storage, full length hanging locker. Sofa converts to small double bed for children under 5 feet or there are 2 additional pull out adult size sleeping mattresses (though space will be tight!) Please bring sleeping bags or bedding if you will be using any of these. WiFi slow in bed due to metal roof, fine near doorway or just outside. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Views across open fields often with pheasants, roe deer, sheep and other wildlife. Car parking 15 yards away. 5 minutes drive to Worplesdon station with regular service to Waterloo (30 mins), and 12 minutes drive to Woking and Guildford town centres. The A3, M3 and M25 are all easily accessible for travelling to London. Local amenities: The Christmas Bakery is a 10min walk away and stocks delicious baked goods (and no it’s not only open at Christmas…) There is a lovely pub and restaurant within walking distance. Worplesdon Station: 5min drive / 10min cycle / 35min walk Woking: 12min drive Guildford: 15min drive; 15min bus (28 bus every hour until 17:34) London: 30min trains direct from Worplesdon to London Waterloo every hour, except on Sundays / 30min trains direct from Woking to London Waterloo every few minutes Stylish and quirky, an atmospheric and unique accommodation experience!
