The space In an old Picardy farmhouse in a small unspoiled village in the Compiègnois region, dating from the early 18th century in stone and brick, completely renovated but retaining its old-world charm, with its exposed beams and fireplace with wood burning stove. In the tradition of the farms of the time, it is accessed through a large carriage door on the courtyard, where the 2 gites of 260m2 are located, with a small garden in the inner courtyard, and a large garden of about 800 m2 with trees and quiet at the rear of the property with Jacuzzis at your disposal ( upon reservation ) for a relaxing moment in the natural plain. Our rates are optimized for our CAPACITY which is 27 people (a few unusual beds would be offered in addition if you are more). Note: Our cottages are not designed as party rooms but as accommodations for family or friends gatherings. As such, excessive noise and noise are not allowed. The garden is equipped with 4 large wooden tables with benches, a barbecue, and enjoys direct access to the playground of the municipality – a real plus for families with children. 🪑 A friendly space for your meals and receptions With its large tables (two folding), this cottage is perfectly suited to accommodate meals or small receptions for up to 25/30 people. The ground floor of 60 m², in open space with 4 meters under the ceiling, is ideal for gatherings with family, friends or colleagues. This L-shaped house, surrounds a private and enclosed garden of about 150m2, perfect for outdoor dining, thanks to its large tables and its quiet and green atmosphere. 🏡 Comfortable living spaces Fully equipped open kitchen of 30m2: large fridge, ceramic hobs, oven, microwave, dishwasher, filter coffee maker, kettle, large glass table, 1 crockery. Warm living room with fireplace and wood burner, WiFi, TV, DVD player, sofa bed. 🛌 Sleeping arrangements – Up to 15 people Spread over two levels, the beds are designed to accommodate groups or large families, with a simple but functional organization. Upstairs: 2 double bedrooms open and en-suite (on either side of the stairwell, without partitions): → 1 bed 160 cm + 1 bed 140 cm 1 through bedroom with 1 double bed 140 cm + 1 small sofa bed 1 through alcove with 2 double beds. 🛑 Attention: low beam height in this area + interconnecting rooms 1 Bathroom with bathtub and toilet 📝 ⚠ Note: The upstairs bedrooms are through, partially separated or by light partitions, some are communicating. This reinforces the rustic charm of the place, but can limit privacy if you come as a group. On the ground floor: 1 triple bedroom: 1 double bed 140 cm + 1 single bed 1 shower room with shower and WC, en-suite + 1 baby bed and 1 baby chair. Hot tub access conditions: Access to the jacuzzi is strictly forbidden for children under 6 years old. Teenagers ages 12 and up can only access it under the active supervision of an accompanying adult.
