The wild mountains of Ardèche, Gîte old barn

The gîte in the old barn is located on the edge of the Massif du Tanargue with fantastic hiking opportunities and not far from swimming areas. It was expanded into a "one-room apartment" while maintaining the room height (almost 5 m at the gable) and the old quarry stone walls. The space In addition to the bathroom, there is only the 70 sqm old barn room with kitchenette, double bed (200 x 160), couch, wardrobe and dining table. Above the bathroom there is also a bunk bed with a large mattress (200 x 160). The gîte is therefore best suited for 2 people. The large glass door and two skylights (one of which can be opened with motor control) make the gîte pleasantly bright. The apartment has a stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, shower, bathtub, toilet, washing machine, etc. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary dishes, as well as a microwave, kettle, coffee maker, mixer, blender, etc. There is a small music system, but no TV. An air conditioner is provided for very hot summers. In front of the house is an old stone bread oven and behind the house is a sunny terrace. There are several benches on which you can sit very nicely and have sun from morning to evening. Garden furniture is available. Please note: The access path is an old mule path, a bit difficult to walk on about 20 m, not suitable for people with reduced mobility!
