Clover Cottage - Hot tub, Sauna & Beautiful Views

Clover Cottage is situated in Beeley, Derbyshire and just a short drive to Bakewell, Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and the beautiful sites of the Peak District. The property sleeps six in superb accommodation with a cosy contemporary feel. The property boasts a private exclusive hot tub to enjoy if the weather allows and there is also a sauna on site which is shared with other guests although private slots are booked once you are on site. The space Clover Cottage is set in a semi rural location on the edge of the National Park and just a few minutes drive to local pubs, farm shops and restaurants. The ground floor property sleeps six, comprising of two double bedrooms, both with ensuites and a sofa bed in the lounge. (Sofa bed bedding will not be made available unless you have booked for 5 or 6 guests) Large open plan kitchen diner extends in to a cosy lounge with exceptional views across the unspoilt countryside. There is a patio and lawn area with hot tub to enjoy if the weather allows where you can occasionally watch amazing sunsets. There is also a sauna on site which is shared with other guests although private slots are booked once you are on site. You are welcome to bring a disposable barbecue if you wish to barbecue or make use of the fire pit to toast marshmallows. Feel free to say hello to our friendly pet goats, sheep and ponies during your stay who love a fuss. You will be provided with a bag of food for them. Private off road parking area is available for two cars. Well behaved dogs are more than welcome. We provide dog goodie boxes which they can indulge in and there is plenty of space to walk on the fields, and multiple walks to woodland walks from the doorstep albeit country roads initially. Locally there are multiple farm shops and small supermarkets, however there is a large Sainsburys in Matlock and large Morrisons in Chesterfield both within 10-15 minutes drive. Alternatively if you wish to order a food shop to be delivered for your stay, Asda, Tesco, Sainsburys & Ocado deliver to our area. Within a folder in the property, there is a list of our recommended restaurants/bars. Guests have walked to some pubs/restaurants however these are a good walk away and please bare in mind the property is located on country roads so there are no pavements or public footpaths initially. Close to our property there is Matlock farm park where the children can see & pet many other animals, have horse riding lessons/pony rides and there is several indoor and outdoor play area, go karts and the UK’s largest jumping pillow. Locally there is a little aquarium, museums, rapids, pottery painting, nerf zone parks and Gullivers Kingdom theme park, aswell as swimming baths, parks and treasure hunts. There is also the famous Chatsworth with its own gardens, farmyard and house and The Heights of Abraham which are both great for family days out. Matlock and Bakewell are both lovely towns for a day out. Matlock Bath is lovely place to visit for an evening at the amusements with fish & chips. All of the activities mentioned above are a 5 to 20 mins drive. There is multiple brochures and leaflets in the baskets of local events and activities. Other things to note CELEBRATIONS If you are staying with us for a celebration then please ask about our special occasions packages tailored to you. We can offer you banners, balloons, cupcakes/brownies and more ready for your arrival for a small fee. HOT TUB Hot tub rules apply. Hot tub closes at 10pm. If you wish to use the hot tub during your stay, we recommend you bring a towel and/or bath robe. Extra towels for hot tub use are not provided. SAUNA Sauna rules apply. Opening hours 10am-9pm There is also a sauna on site which is shared with the other cottages on site however private slots must booked once you are on site. Extra towels for sauna use are not provided. WIFI. Update Sept 23 - Due to the location of this property, the WIFI is now provided by Rural 4G Broadband & it is now unlimited but speeds can still vary but generally are more than sufficient for browsing and streaming. COFFEE MACHINE Our coffee machine takes Dolce Gusto Pods, these are not provided so please bring these with you if you are wishing to use it.
