Enjoy the beautiful Brohltal with the volcanic region around Maria Laach (lake and monastery) and the Nürburgring (auto sport/races) or the Rhine Valley with a variety of tourist attractions, such as Rhein in Flammen. Or enjoy the red wine hiking trail in the Ahr Valley above Ahrweiler, which is only two motorway exits from Niederzissen. You can also enjoy the view of the paragliders on the Bausenberg, which you can watch from the Country House Patricia when the weather is nice. A few minutes' walk away you can take the historic Brohltal railway from the Niederzissen train station to the unique volcanic region, to stop off or go hiking. The beautiful old town of Koblenz with the cable car to Ehrenbreitstein is also a highlight. In winter, visitors can also meet the real Santa Claus with the "Vulkanexpress" during the Advent season. For better holiday planning, remember: Niederzissen is located in the Brohltal, not far from the Rhine and Ahr valleys. You can even explore the Moselle from Koblenz. Simply paradise!
