We recommend 3+nights if you can. The space Nestled in the woods amongst a small lakefront community with your own dedicated dock/watercraft, lake views, and full lake access. Over 100 years ago, a series of fishing ‘camps’ were established and the guest house is one of these. Its slightly back from the lake edge and has good privacy while still having nice lake views and we are happy to host visitors to share in this slice of paradise. Guest access Entire guesthouse with multiple outdoor areas, private dock, water craft, and full access to large natural private lake. Other things to note The Oscaleta Guest House is on a lake in the woods and due to insurance reasons we can’t host children younger than 12 years old. Serious storms (like Sandy) have taken out the power and internet. It is usually restored as promptly as possible. Unfortunately we can’t control the weather but we have water and flashlights in the unlikely event this happens. There is no emergency generator installed. Under airbnb amenity category “kayak” we provide a canoe and 2 stand up paddleboards instead of actual ‘kayaks’.
