Moo Cow Cottage is a charming two Story Farm Cottage located in a beautiful countryside location on Stocken Hall Farm, near the village of Stretton. This delightful cottage has a large secure garden and a secure parking area for multiple vehicles. The Cottage has lots of extra touches for the whole family with a well equipped kitchen, travel cot, highchair, bathroom stool and stair gate so coming here with a young family is like home from home. The space 🏡 The cottage is set back from the road on a private driveway so despite its convenient proximity to the A1 which is 5 mins by car there is no issue of being disturbed by passing traffic. 🛏️ This delightful cottage sleeps 6 people over 3 bedrooms, with 2 king sized bedrooms and a bedroom with 2 single beds. There are provisions to put up an extra air bed or provide a travel cot if required. 🧺 The laundry room is in one of the outbuildings and has a washing machine and tumble dryer, and a large clothes line outside. 🛜 SUPERFAST Wi-Fi is available throughout the cottage and we have a 42 inch Smart T.V in lounge. 📻 Radio available in the kitchen. 🏡 The large garden is completely fenced and secure with a concrete back yard which is ideal for the little ones to pedal the ride on tractors and keep amused whilst adults can relax on the patio or get cooking on the barbecue. 🥅 ⚽️ We have football goals and football in the garden for young and older to have a kick about. 💦 ⛵️ Rutland Water is just 20 mins drive and offers sailing, fishing, walks and cycle hire with the new Aqua Park inflatables for fun activities. ⛳️ Greetham Valley Golf Course driving range and Archery is just 10 mins by car. 📍 Local towns are Oakham, Stamford, Grantham and Melton Mowbray and nearest city is Peterbough which is 40 mins by car. Guest access Guests have plenty of free parking, and a large garden front and back. The outbuildings at the back of the cottage provide guests a laundry room, log storage and “little Farmers Play shed” to store the ride on toys. Other things to note There is only one bathroom in the property and it is on ground floor. I regret that the cottage does not have wheelchair access.
