The estate with all its natural glories and beautiful buildings is open to visitors. There is also Skovsgaard food market, where every Thursday from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm there is an organic buffet at a reasonable price. The buffet is popular, so it might be a good idea to book a table. You can easily spend a whole day at Skovsgaard and in the nature around it. You won't find the wild nightlife in Rudkøbing. Use the kitchen blender for delicious holiday smoothies. Juice of 4 oranges, 1 soft avocado, a little parsley, a little water, 4 dates without stones – blend it all. Also try blending strawberries and avocado, it's just delicious. Or just use the fruits and vegetables you like best. - There are plenty of great recipes online. It's nice to take a food basket down to the old bathing establishment and enjoy the sunset and a swim. The town has a population base that is not sufficient for most chain stores, therefore there are many unique stores where the goods are characterized by the owner's unique and independent taste – you will therefore find interesting things that are not found elsewhere.
