Our little country house, located in the heart of Sicily, is a perfect shelter for people stressed by modern and city life. Ideal for couples or families looking for rural experience. It is a very good base for exploring Sicily. The space The cottage is a renovated rural house located in the heart of Sicily. It is surrounded by vineyards, orchards and a sweeping countryside wrapped in silence. It is possible to take long pleasant walks along the country roads, meeting friendly farmers (that usually don't speak English), animals to play with and fruit trees to taste. It is a perfect place to relax enjoying the sun and the unpolluted fresh air. According to the past guests, breakfast in the terrace, having a barbecue, the beautiful sunsets, reading a book, lighting the fireplace and having a candlelight dinner are usually the most wonderful moments at the cottage. The ancient Greek temples -"Valle dei Templi"- are easily reachable by car. Seaside and nice beaches are about 40 minutes driving distance and we can recommend the best one! Closest villages and shops are Delia, Sommatino and "Borgo Santa Rita" - an old traditional village where locals prepare and sell home made bread, pasta, pizza and cheese. All the basic commodities are provided, with some additional food and specialities produced nearby, just to let you feel already at home once arrived.
