We are happy to welcome you to our newly renovated and lovingly designed apartment in 2018. Feel at home on 85 square meters and a spacious terrace. The Franconian Forest will enchant you. Whether summer or winter, the region offers its guests a variety of possibilities. Active vacation with hiking, biking, skiing or touring but also culture and culinary delights - everything is possible! Take a vacation with us and save on electricity, water and heating costs at home! The space In the light-flooded living room with a distant view over the treetops and valleys of the Franconian Forest, everyday life can quickly be forgotten. The small but well-equipped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer combination, oven, coffee maker, toaster...) invites you to cook together. After dinner, you can sit in the cozy dining room or on the terrace with a good glass of Franconian wine and watch the magnificent sunset. Relax after an active day with a bubble bath in the spacious tub and then enjoy the tranquility in the cozy king-size double bed. (Your sleeping comfort is important to us, so you have the option to choose between a medium-hard mattress or a soft topper. Please indicate this when booking.) The next morning, the view over the Franconian Forest will inspire you again. Our apartment is well suited for allergy sufferers. With each change of guests, mattresses and upholstery are deeply cleaned of dust mites and impurities with a modern, very effective cleaning system. This device also makes the entire apartment dust- and pollen-free. Asthmatics can breathe more easily with us. Guest access In addition to the apartment with two terraces and a garden, a separate utility room with a washing machine, dryer and ironing station is at our guests' disposal. In the dining room, there is a good mini stereo system for your use. Your vehicle may be parked in a parking space right in front of the house. On the south terrace there are two loungers for sunbathing and relaxing. On warm days, a garden shower offers welcome cooling. Other things to note The museums in the Kulmbach Mönchshof (beer - bread - spices) have a new, interesting program on offer that is really worth a visit. There is also plenty to discover in the romantic, historic towns of our region, for which a single vacation is probably not enough. Above all, the imposing, unique fortresses "Plassenburg" in Kulmbach and "Rosenberg" in Kronach should be mentioned here. In addition to the Obermain Museum with important works by Franconian artists, Plassenburg houses the German Tin Figure Museum, the world's largest of its kind. In addition, the "Schöne Hof" is considered the most important and most beautiful Renaissance tournament yard north of the Alps. The Rosenberg is the most defiant and resilient castle complex ever. It could never be conquered by attacking powers, not even by Napoleon's armies.
