In honor of the late wife of Henry Rosenberg, the Letitia Rosenberg home was built in 1895 as a home for elderly woman and is an iconic piece of Galveston's history. 1/3 of the home has been renovated with inlaid woods, 5' mahogany wainscoting, longleaf pine floors, period chandeliers, 22,000 lbs of Carrera marble, 10" crown moldings. The interior decorated with beautiful pieces from around the world! About 3 blocks from the Historic Pleasure Pier and Beach! Come enjoy a true piece of history!! The space As you enter the front door second story, you are immediately engulfed in the grand foyer. With walls adorned with paintings and multiple seating areas, you have space to relax and begin to settle into the home. To your left, you'll find the formal living room and sitting area. This also features attached office space for any work needing to be done. To the right, you'll find the formal dining room with beautiful built-in hutches saved from the historic St Peters. The kitchen offers everything you need to prepare your meals with its industrial stove and stainless steel prep spaces. Through the kitchen, you will find a small breakfast nook with views that overlook the side courtyard and balcony. To the back of the house are two half baths with a elegant sitting room. Down the hall the next room is the home theater, with relaxed seating and a large projection screen, you will have plenty of entertainment!! Up the stairs on the 3rd floor are 3 separate bedroom suites! Each bedroom has its own separate seating room and attached full bathrooms. Also on the 3rd floor is a large sitting room and hallway and very large laundry room with washer and dryer.
