Shelldrake Village Cabin

Unique, quaint and cozy air conditioned cabin located on Lake Superior in the historic lumber town site of Shelldrake. Overlooks small harbor on Whitefish Bay with campfires and stargazing, surrounded by abundant history and wildlife! Beautiful sunrises over the lake and recent interior upgrades make this cabin the perfect place for a Paradise getaway. Cabin includes full Kitchen, 1 bath, 1 queen bed, 2 single beds w/trundle, wood stove and Smart TV, heater, portable A/C unit The space These cabins are part of the original buildings in the old lumber town of Shelldrake Michigan. Wildlife and brilliant water views abound along with a fire pit for making memories and S’mores! There is also an additional beach access within a short walk from the cabin. This cabin is limited to four adults or two adults and two children. NO PETS. Guest access The area from the driveway to the fire pit. Beach access within 5 minute walk. A map and further details are provided at the cabin. The property to the left (north) of the cabin is for owner use only. You may walk down the gravel road though which continues for over a mile. Other things to note You are entering the northwoods of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The beauty and unmatched serenity of this area is what makes it so enjoyable. But, because of its remoteness, it is very wild and has its share of wildlife! At certain times of the year, mosquitoes and other bugs are aplenty and it requires taking precautions to avoid them including bug spray, protective clothing and making sure that doors are kept shut and minimally opened. We do our best to provide a comfortable place for you to stay but can't guarantee a bug or wildlife free experience! Please keep windows closed while running A/C unit. There is no smoking of any kind allowed in this cabin which includes any tobacco or marijuana, and no drones are allowed to be used on the property or surrounding areas.
