Nestled discreetly in a valley with stunningly beautiful surroundings & fully modern facilities, amazing 'Casa Mchana' is the ultimate "Andalusian Dream Holiday Villa". The main house sleeps 6 guests with garden for outdoor eating, a kitchen, dining room & lounge. All rooms have aircon The space Registration # VTAR/AL/00223 'Casa Mchana' sits amid lush and tranquil gardens only a few minutes walk from two lovely local restaurants. Being also within two kilometers from the heart of Cabrera the villa is very well placed to maximise all that the area has to offer. Its secluded position offers fabulous views towards the Mediterranean Sea and Sierra Cabrera mountains. The gardens are a constant cascade of colour where bougainvillea and jasmine flower endlessly in the Andalucían sunshine, while the modern comforts of broadband internet access, air conditioning and satellite television ensure you can remain firmly attached to the 21st century. The typical Andalucían stone steps give access to the front garden and in turn to the villa itself. The extensive lawn and covered terraces are guarded by shady trees which provide cool comfortable surroundings in the heat of summer yet the magnificent views are still accessible from the strategically placed seating and upper balconies. The large and fully equipped kitchen has access directly onto the front terrace, this exquisitely picturesque spot houses a magnificent marble dining table perfect for eating alfresco. The indoor dining room takes centre stage whilst the kitchen is to the left, and the lounge to the right. Upstairs the spacious master en suite bedroom with built in wardrobes, marble floors and air conditioning is beautifully complimented by the terrace where the stunning views can be enjoyed with a morning coffee or evening sun downer. A further double bedroom, with air conditioning and built in wardrobe and also a twin bedroom, with aircon, built in wardrobe share a bathroom, with bath and shower which completes the accommodation in the main villa. To the rear of the villa, mature palms and tangles of bougainvillea surround the sizeable private pool. There is more than ample space for sun loungers and also a built in BBQ and exquisite dining area which enjoy the most charming of spots, perfect to soak up the mountain views over a bottle of Rioja and an evening meal. The far side of the pool sits the cosy self contained guest house with a further double bedroom, with air conditioning, build in wardrobe and a twin room, with ceiling fan and a stand fan, built in wardrobe and a family bathroom and open plan lounge/dining and kitchen area. An ideal villa for families or large groups. The traditional features throughout coupled with the combination of modern comforts and a magnificent garden setting make this charming villa the perfect venue for the perfect Spanish villa holiday. Please note that although there is Wi-Fi it is not the best, it will not reach the outside to the pool and can be intermittent, this is the best we can get for where the house is situated. Other things to note Also in the above valley in the Sierra Cabrera mountains it is possible to bowl, horse-ride (whether you are an experienced rider or not, Rancho Cabrera will offer you a varied mix of expertly lead and guided rides through beautiful terrain each tailored to your ability). There is also trekking for those to explore by foot, also they have modern tennis courts and petanque courts, yoga classes and Spanish lessons are available, too. High in the Sierra Cabrera mountains there some restaurants which have the most stunning mountain views. El Arco (homemade Spanish dishes, tapas and snacks), Los Pasotres (the most incredible views looking out onto Cortijo Grande, and you can even see your 'Casa Mchana' on the side of the mountain!). For a more Moroccan flavour head to Riad Cabrera (Fatima's staff will cook you up a feast with the friendliest smiles and personally my favourite). Turre is the local village, about 4 km away offers a modern supermarket, clothes, hairdressers and beauty shops, newspaper outlets along with a few family run restaurants serving superb Spanish dishes, especially Casa Adelina which is known for being fantastic. In the fiesta time locals come by their masses to enjoy this wonderful restaurant. Also here is a mountain water tap facility to fill up your water bottle with the freshest of what the Sierra Cabrera Mountains have to offer. Just before you reach Turre there is an adventure park which offers a wide range of faculties from archery to paint balling and also has a kids play days if you fancy taking a relaxing day off. If you are a seafood lover then there is no better place to eat than Garrucha, which is a working fishing port famous for their prawns. All restaurants offer the catch of the day and one to recommend is Restaurant Andalusia. Mojacar is a large white village that is positioned on the hillside and overlooks the Mediterranean Sea, there are shops, cafes and restaurants here and is a very Spanish place to visit as all the streets are small and twisting and very beautiful. There is a cafe that has the most amazing balcony with stunning views especially at dusk when the sun is going down. The beaches may surprise many visitors with its diversity and beauty, the closet being Mojacar Playe which is only 20 minutes by car. Again there are numerous restaurants here including a steak house. They also have amazingly beautiful nightclubs and beach bars so a bit for anyone. The Cabo De Gata National Park with pristine marine environment, sandy coves and rocky inlets. To the south, diving, snorkelling, and sailing come to the fore where you can quite easily find your own private cove even in the summer months. There are also wonderful markets in each of the surrounding the villages on different days that are not to be missed, selling everything from fresh olives to spices to clothes (full listings of these days can be found in the villa guest book).
