Authentic 100 m² Cévennes farmhouse, energy self-sufficient, in the center of an isolated 20-hectare site on a ridge overlooking the Chamborigaud Viaduct and Mount Lozère. The space This 17th-century farmhouse, nestled in the heart of a magnificent chestnut grove teeming with exceptional flora and fauna, stands at the end of a ridge overlooking Chamborigaud and its viaduct, with Mount Lozère (1680 m) as a majestic backdrop. We can recommend swimming spots, each more beautiful than the last. We will also show you the many hiking trails (for walking, mountain biking, horseback riding, donkey riding, etc.) that wind through the forest landscapes, surrounded by heather and gorse, and infused with the scents of a variety of flowers, trees, shrubs, and wild and aromatic plants. - As the seasons pass, you will discover a multitude of flowers in spring, blackberries and apples in summer, chestnuts in fall, and the warmth of the house with its wood-burning stove, where you can sometimes cook in the snow on certain winters. - This farmhouse was recently restored using local and traditional materials, with a parquet floor and chestnut staircase, hemp-lime plastered walls, and terracotta tiling. It is fully self-contained in terms of electricity and heating. - The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, fridge with freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, coffee grinder with coffee beans for connoisseurs, and a wood-burning stove for cooking, an oven, and hot water. A 2-burner gas stove for emergencies. - The bathroom has a large shower with a mixer tap and solar-heated water, as well as a wood-burning stove, a sink, and a wall-hung toilet connected to a plant-based wastewater treatment system. -The wooden terrace on the kitchen side with the house is covered by a wisteria, it has table chairs. - The pool is infinity, its depth ranges from 10 cm to 70 cm for the beach then to 1.50 m in the pool of 3mx5m. There is also a covered terrace with table, chairs, gas BBQ and sun loungers. - The master bedroom, with a 160 cm bed, is located on the ground floor along with the living room, kitchen, and bathroom. - The mezzanine is equipped with a sofa bed and armchairs, a large TV, and a Wii U with a few games. -The children's room upstairs has 2 bunk beds with playmobils, comics and an assembly game for the little ones. - In the laundry room, there is a washing machine, a vacuum cleaner, and a clothesline. - 4G internet access available throughout the house. Other things to note Cleaning is your responsibility directly through the site. Bed linens and bath towels are not included, but we can provide them for €15 per person. Thanks! Guest access The entire site is at your disposal on 20 hectares and more... The first houses are 500 m away on the ridge opposite. Not overlooked. Total tranquility! The accommodation is not accessible for people with reduced mobility. Other things to note This is an isolated site where energy is produced by the sun so consumption is limited but does not present an obstacle to comfort. The water is heated by solar power, but the boiler stove can take over to have enough volume. The entire facility is new and modern.
