Authentic 100 m² Cévennes farmhouse, energy self-sufficient, in the center of an isolated 20-hectare site on a ridge overlooking the Chamborigaud Viaduct and Mount Lozère. We'll be happy to host you for your stay. The space This 17th century farmhouse, in the center of a magnificent chestnut grove populated by exceptional fauna and flora, is located on the end of a ridge overlooking Chamborigaud and its viaduct with Mont Lozère at 1680 m as a backdrop. The swimming spots that we will locate for you are each more beautiful than the last. We will also show you the many hiking trails (hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, donkey riding...) that wind through the forest landscapes surrounded by heather and broom, scented with multiple species of flowers, trees, shrubs, wild and aromatic plants. -The passing seasons will introduce you to a multitude of flowers in the spring, blackberries and apples in the summer, chestnuts in the fall and the warmth of the house with its wood stove to cook sometimes under the snow in some winters. - This farmhouse has been recently restored with local and traditional materials, parquet flooring and chestnut staircase, hemp lime coated walls, terracotta tiles. It is fully self-contained in electricity and heating. -The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, fridge with freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, coffee grinder with coffee beans for experts, and a wood stove for cooking, oven and hot water. A 2-gas burner for troubleshooting. -The bathroom has a large shower with mixer tap and solar-heated water and wood stove, a sink and a suspended toilet connected to a phyto-purification system by plants. -The wooden terrace on the kitchen side of the house is covered by a wisteria, it has a table and chairs. - The pool is overflowing, its depth ranges from 10 cm to 70 cm for the beach then to 1.50 m in the 3 m x 5 m pool. There is also a covered terrace with table, chairs, gas barbecue and sun loungers. -The master bedroom with a 160 bed is located on the ground floor with the living room, kitchen and bathroom. -The mezzanine is equipped with a sofa bed and armchairs, a large TV and a Wii U with some games. -The children's room upstairs has 2 bunk beds with playmobils, comics and a jigsaw puzzle for the little ones. -In the laundry room is a washing machine, vacuum cleaner and clothes rack. - Possibility to connect to 4G throughout the house. In short, enough to live and share an unforgettable moment with the family for an eco-friendly holiday in the countryside! Other things to note Cleaning is your responsibility directly through the site. Bed linens and towels are not included but we can provide them for €10 per person. Thanks! Guest access The entire site is at your disposal on 20 hectares and more... The first houses are 500 m away on the ridge opposite. Not overlooked. Total tranquility! The accommodation is not accessible for people with reduced mobility. Other things to note This is an isolated site where the energy is produced by the sun so consumption is limited but does not present an obstacle to comfort. The water is also heated by solar, but the boiler stove will be able to take over to have enough volume. The entire facility is new and modern.
