Hyggelig holiday home (80 sqm) in the heart of the Rhön

We warmly welcome you to our vacation home Paula! In the old farmhouse you will find everything you could want for a relaxing vacation in the Rhön Mountains. Coziness, tranquility and optimal amenities will delight you. Our house is newly renovated and offers a spacious living / dining area, a kitchen with kettle and fireplace, a reading room as well as a bathroom and 2 bedrooms. And all this on one floor with about 80 square meters of living space. Make yourself at home! The space von Marlene is located in the Rhön UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The Rhön is one of the most extraordinary low mountain ranges in Europe and was designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1991. This makes it part of a worldwide network of outstanding natural and cultural landscapes without wind turbines. In the Rhön biosphere reserve you will encounter an abundance of unique natural treasures, valuable biotopes, natural primeval forests, mysterious moors, basalt mountains, idyllic river valleys, species-rich mountain meadows and an incredible expanse and freedom. There are also many beautiful bike paths in the immediate vicinity. The cottage is located in a fantastic environment that can be explored by bicycle (e-bike). You have the house to yourself. The entire ground floor is at your disposal for your relaxing vacation. Parking is in the courtyard. Storage of 2 bicycles or 2 motorcycles in the garage is possible. In addition, you can enjoy nature in the spacious garden and fun is also guaranteed for the little ones. Of course, you will be provided with fresh towels and linens for your stay. Firewood is also available for the fireplaces. One basket is free, all others are EUR 5. Of course, you can also bring your own firewood. Each room is equipped with an insect screen on the window. The reading room is an exception. Cell phone reception via Telekom (D-Netz) and O2 (E-Netz) works well. With a surf stick, you can easily make a home office in the reading room, kitchen or living room. Guest access Parking is available in the courtyard. It can be parked right next to the entrance door to the apartment. Other things to note The Paula vacation home is heated with modern electric radiators. The hot water is also prepared electrically as needed. You pay the amount of electricity you use during your stay in cash on departure (€ 0.38/kWh). Please do not leave the front door open unattended, otherwise mice, flies and mosquitoes could nest in the vacation home.
