Kokomo is a 4 bedroom 3 bath, oceanfront home. With the beach just 50 feet from our home, each bedroom is oceanfront, opening onto oceanfront decks. Quality Linens and towels included. 2 master suites! The children's bedroom has lots of toys and games. Hot tub on deck overlooking the ocean in season. Pamlico Sound is at the other end of the street, making it perfect for all windsurfers and kiteboarders. Check-in days are Saturdays. No early check-in. Only steps to the beach, our home has some of the best oceanfront views on the island. With this being our actual home during the off-season, it is NOT the typical rental property you find on the island. You will feel its warmth and welcoming appeal the moment you walk in. There is a high chair and a port-a-crib for the little ones, an ice cream machine, and my kitchen is stocked with spices for you, so just make yourself at home and enjoy your stay at Kokomo. You'll want to get there fast so you can take it slow!!!!!! Fireworks are not allowed Entire home is yours to enjoy. During the summer months, I live and work close by, so feel free to call me for dinner recommendations, best places to visit or shop, or just to say hello. Within walking distance to the Rodanthe Pier and Kitty Hawk Kites for all the kite boarders and windsurfers. Close to several great restaurants!!!! Goodwinds restaurant and bar is one of my favorites to go and watch the sunset over Pamlico Sound. It is located atop Kitty Hawk Kites, overlooking the sound. Another great restaurant is Boardwalk South!!! We also have an ice cream shop and fudge store at the end of the street, and the smell of her homemade cinnamon rolls drifts down the street in the early hours of the morning. They go fast, so get there early!!! The Rodanthe pier is within walking distance from the house. The pier is open from 7 am to midnight. There is also a bait shop with fishing supplies, snacks, and ice. The game room which is on the premises is great for the younger kids. Deb and Nick are both very knowledgeable and can help you with all your fishing needs. The best donuts are made at a shop at the end of the street, and great ice cream and fudge are also within walking distance.
