Description
Recently refurbished, The Old Pottery is a cosy and comfortable annexe in our garden. Just a 5 min walk from the town's main square and within the Southdowns National Park, this cute conversion is the perfect couples retreat. Please note that the property is accessible via a flight of stone stairs (10 steps) and that we no longer accept dogs. We also advise this is not suitable for small children just because Neil (our bull terrier) frequents the garden and is quite bouncy. The space The accommodation offers a beautiful new shower room and ample bedroom, which includes a dining space. Please be aware that there is not an additional living room. The small kitchen has all you need to self cater should you wish, inc fridge, combi microwave/ convection oven/ grill plus hob. We'll ensure you have the basics: Tea, coffee, sugar & milk upon arrival. We back onto the fields and local stables/ riding school and have now added a private outside space with table and chairs. Guest access Although you have access to the property through our garden, we respectfully ask that guests only use fenced garden area around the Pottery itself, except when leaving and entering. The rest of the garden is not for guest use. Please note we do have a small, very friendly dog who does use the garden you walk through to access the Pottery. Other things to note We get asked this a lot, so thought it would be useful to say that we provide your towels. However, if you’re thinking of going to the beach or lido then you might want to bring extra. Neil, our dog, does have access to the garden you walk through to enter your own space. He is very friendly but it’s only fair to let you know if you are fearful of dogs.
