Casa Poeti is a well-preserved 1920s house. Immersed in olive trees for over a hundred years, Casa Poeti has three large bedrooms, an ancient kitchen and two spacious terraces covered by typical bamboo cane rooftop. Through a descent of stone steps, you reach the bathroom with internal and external shower. The space Casa dei poeti is located in Lazzaro Alta, a very beautiful and ventilated area, perhaps less known than Lazzaro "bassa". It can be reached in a few minutes along a magnificent path that goes up the town and continues along the high ridge of the mountain. At the end of this path is the Casa Poeti, a house that could once be defined as a prestigious residence, while remaining of a classic Aeolian style. The house is therefore isolated from the town and enjoys a wonderful view of olive trees and the sea. Casa Poeti is one of a kind, high ceilings and very large rooms, two of these on the upper floor where there is also a long terrace. From the terrace via a descent of stone steps, which leads to the lower floor, you reach another bedroom and the bathroom. Sheltered next to the bathroom there is also an outdoor shower, almost built into the rock. The terrace is therefore on a high floor, which gives it excellent air circulation. The real heart of the house, however, is the large kitchen, which is the last room facing the sea. In addition to access to the large terrace the kitchen has another exit, onto another square terrace overlooking the sea, open on 3 sides, practically "suspended" over the sea of ​​olive trees and totally excluded from the view. These particularities make it a very sought-after home, for example the photos published were kindly provided by a magazine called Grazia Casa, which last year carried out a report dedicated exclusively to the Casa Poeti. Other things to note The house is really comfortable but it is important to enter the dimension of the island which is still an arid land where water is precious.
