No car is needed. The beach is only 2 min walking distance and the nightspots are only a 5 min walking. In Albufeira (centre/downtown) you can find restaurants, pubs, supermarkets, churches, coffee shops, pharmacies, post office, hospital, etc. The Albufeira harbour is 10 minutes walking. During summer the city provides different cultural events (concerts, fireworks, etc). If you are a golf player you have a course set on the flat lands behind the sandy beach of Praia de Galé (about 5 minutes by car).
