Spacious Cottage in the Peak District With Pool

Situated conveniently alongside some of the lovely places that the Peak District has to offer. What used to be an old working farm has now been turned into its own little holiday village. Guests will enjoy the home comforts of this spacious open plan cottage along with the added bonus of having use of the shared indoor heated swimming pool. Within 10 minutes walking distance of the beautiful Carsington Water Reservoir and just across the road is the Knockerdown pub serving locally sourced food. The space This spacious open plan cottage makes it an ideal cottage for a get together with family or friends. With 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, sleeping up to 10 people. The large lounge area has a TV and soft, comfy seating for ten guests. Dining area with a large table and seating for 10 guests. The kitchen is well equipped for all your self catering needs and includes a large range style cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, glasses and utensils. Bedroom 1 – super king or twin beds & TV Bedroom 2 – super king or twin beds Bedroom 3 – king or twin beds + bunk beds Bedroom 4 – bunk beds All bedrooms have ample drawer and wardrobe space. One hairdryer is provided. The family bathroom has a bath with a shower over, WC and a wash basin. Ground floor shower room has an enclosed shower, WC and wash basin. Outdoor seating. Guest access Please note that the following can change at any time. Guests can enjoy our communal heated indoor swimming pool, which is open all year round with the exception of early closure on Christmas & New Years Eve and CLOSED on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. The swimming pool opens at 8.30 am and closes at 6.30 pm. (Early Closure on Christmas & New Year's Eve). Unisex changing rooms with showers and toilets are available opposite the entrance to the swimming pool. Play area with swings, slides and a hobbit house. Communal games room with table tennis, football and pool table (£1 coin required for football & pool table). No travel cots are available, so please bring your own, along with cot bedding. Highchairs (without straps) are available on request. We have ample outdoor space for you to enjoy, so why not bring along your own outdoor games to use on our large meadow. We also have plenty of walks around us, so come and enjoy the beautiful Peak District. Other things to note Key collection is from a key box next to your cottage door. The code will be sent to you a few days prior to arrival. Access to the swimming pool is open from 8.30 am to 6.30 pm each day apart from Boxing, Christmas and New Year's Day, when it is closed. Early closure on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times, in both the swimming pool and the games room. A highchair is available on request (no straps provided), please advise when booking. We do not provide cots, so you will need to bring your own, along with cot bedding. There is a laundry room which consists of two washing machines & a tumble dryer (charges apply, £1 coins required). This cottage is part of a complex with 15 other cottages; the pool, games room and outdoor children's play area are all shared facilities. Please note that we are also a wedding venue, so a wedding may be taking place during your stay. Please note we do not supply any condiments such as oil, kitchen roll, foil, etc. or toiletries; you will need to bring your own.
