Large en-suite room in Peebles, safe bike storage.

This is one of two newly-decorated double rooms (with bathrooms) that we have on the top floor of our home in Peebles in the Scottish Borders. The house is a 5minute walk to the town centre for shops, pubs and restaurants, and ideally located for exploring the area – from countryside walks and castle visits to mountain biking (there is storage for bikes) and Go-Ape at Glentress. Cocoa Black (chocolate making courses and cafe) is just down the road. Edinburgh is just a 45-minute drive away. The space Bright and spacious room with private bathroom (with shower). Room comes with king size bed (additional child bed on request), television. The room has a Velux balcony window that opens out with view onto Victoria Park. WiFi is included, as are towels, bed linen. There is a table for eating at with cutlery and crockery. A kettle, tea/coffee, milk and breakfast cereal is provided. In addition to the bedroom and bathroom, there is a shared landing with a small kitchen area with microwave, fridge, toaster and coffee machine where simple meals can be prepared or heated., or a bottle of wine .Well-behaved dogs are welcome (we have one of our own). Guest access Access to the property is up a flight of steps, so please bear this in mind - and the room is on the top floor of the house, accessed through the front door (we tend to use the back entrance). Each guest has a key to their room and front door key. During your stay My husband, Roger, and I live downstairs in the house and so are always on hand to offer suggestions of things to do and places to visit. Other things to note We have a second double en-suite room available (look for "Room 1"), so we can accommodate four people in total.
