Little Hardings - a spacious, very homely house in an elevated position, tucked away in the village of Liddington. Just 5 minutes' drive from J15 of the M4 & 15 minutes by taxi from Swindon Railway Station. The ancient Ridgeway is on the doorstep, as are the Iron Age Hill Forts of Liddington and Barbury Castle. Conveniently located to explore the Roman City of Bath, Cirencester, Hungerford, Marlborough, Salisbury, Caen Hill Locks, The Cotswolds etc. London Paddington is one hour by train. The space Little Hardings is a newly renovated house which guests have entirely to themselves. The house is deceptively large inside and provides a large area for relaxing. Downstairs. A very large fully kitted kitchen with a Rangemaster 5 gas hob range with two electric fan ovens and grill. A Nespresso Krups coffee machine, Dualit Milk frother, picnic flasks , picnic boxes, fridge freezer, dishwasher, four slice toaster, microwave and everything you need for a bit of baking adjoins the dining area with dining table for six, a leather sofa and chaise lounge to relax in over looking open countryside. The kitchen leads into the hallway…. There is a lounge with large tv, and two comfy leather sofas to relax in if you’re staying put for the day or evening. Bedroom three, downstairs, has a lovely view, single bed, smart tv, a working space and is downstairs near to the bath and shower room. A separate utility room with a washing machine / coat / shoe storage, picnic rug and shopping bags leads into the bathroom. The bathroom is fitted with a large bath and shower over, a vanity unit with heated lighted mirror. A large heated towel rail to dry all of your towels. Towels and shower gel are provided. Upstairs Bedroom 1 has a king size bed, smart tv, and large velux window with far reaching views and a working area. Bedroom 2 can be either a double room or changed to two single, (standard size), on request. It has a tv with DVD player and a working space. A velux window looks out over green fields. The shower room is between the two bedrooms and has a large shower with vanity unit and toilet. A large heated towel rail to dry all of your towels. Shower gel and towels are provided. Outside the front garden is mainly sloping lawn and shrubs and is fully enclosed and gated. A picnic bench is on the lawn so guests can enjoy the view and sunset. A path of steep steps lead up to the front door. There is no hand rail so please do message if you’d like any extra details / photos. Free ON STREET road parking is to the front of Little Hardings. The back area is a fully enclosed laid patio with a covered area to enjoy a winter's evening drink outside or soaking up the summer sunshine. This area is safe for dogs and children with a small gate preventing access to the front garden. We welcome one well behaved dog, please do let us know in advance if you’re brining your dog, there is a one off pet fee of £20 to cover extra cleaning etc. We supply pet bowls, towels, blankets and shampoo. Treats and dog poop bags. Please note BBQs are not permitted at Little Hardings due to hedges and vegetation surrounding the area. We live next door to Little Hardings with our two miniature dachshunds and border collie. The local pub, The Village Inn, is a two minute walk away. There are also five other pubs within a 10 minute drive in the next village. Please do note Little Hardings is a NO SMOKING property inside and outside. Guest access Little Harding’s entire space is just for guests. No one else has any access to grounds or house. Other things to note Some steps lead up to Little Hardings front door. Please ask for extra photos is you’re are worried about mobility. The steps are on a gently incline and wide but there are no hand rails. The house is an elevated position with lovely views over open countryside. Free on street village parking on the road opposite the house. Also please note if requesting the single beds option for bedroom 2, the beds are a regular size single, 1.9 metre (6ft 3in) long by 80cm (2ft 8in) wide. Also one well behaved dog welcome with a fee of £20. Bowls, towels, shampoo and blankets supplied. Please note Little Hardings is a NO SMOKING PROPERTY INSIDE & OUTSIDE.
