B&B in beautiful rural location.

Situated in a stunning location 6 miles west of Peebles, Tor Hill House is an ideal base for exploring both the beautiful Scottish Borders and Edinburgh which is only 25 miles to the North. This listing is for a double room (with a king size bed) and a twin room with spacious bathroom in an area separated by a door from the rest of the house. If only one room is booked, rest assured that we won't let out the second bedroom so you will have the space to yourselves The space We built Tor Hill House 17 years ago as a family home. On the ground floor on one side of the house are two bedrooms and a bathroom. This listing relates to the double room & the twin room, to accommodate up to 4 guests. The bathroom has a large bath with a good strong shower over it. Guest access The dining room can be used for relaxing over breakfast & guests may, if they would like to, enjoy the garden, but must be aware that we have 3 friendly dogs who might also be in the garden! Guests are also very welcome to use the dining room if they need peace & quiet/ time to work. During your stay My family and I live in the remainder of the house although the accommodation is self-contained and so you can be quite private. I will meet you on arrival and will ensure that a delicious continental breakfast is available for you at a time of your choosing between 7am and 9am & will either be around in person to help you with anything you need to know, or on the other end of the phone. Other things to note If you would like to avoid going into Peebles in the evening to eat, with advance warning I can provide a two course meal here for £22.00 per person It is an easy run by car to the Edinburgh by- pass, so if you want to combine city & country, the park & ride is a 35 minute drive from here & then 25 mins on the bus! We now have fibre broadband so our wifi is excellent. There is a baby grand piano available for those who wish to use it. Registration Details Licence application pending
