Villa Olivia, an undisturbed, beautiful property
Description
Villa Olivia is found in the Klima area of Skopelos at the end of a small concrete road with private parking. Glossa with its shops and restaurants is about an 8-minute drive away. Beaches are 10 minutes drive away, and a stone monopati (footpath) leads down to the port of Loutraki where you will find beaches, cafes and tavernas. The main feature is the wonderful views from the terrace across the Aegean Sea to distant islands. The sunset over Skiathos is as stunning as it is unique. The space Villa Olivia consists of two houses connected by a pool terrace. The terrace has an unparallelled ocean view with sunset over the neighbouring island of Skiathos. The main house has an open kitchen and living room. A stone staircase leads to the mezzanine floor, where you will find a sofa bed, TV, DVD and a door leading to the Juliet balcony with views over the pool and terrace. The double bedroom is located next to the living room on the ground floor and has direct access to the pool terrace. The bedroom is fully air-conditioned. A door leads to the en-suite shower/WC. The guest cottage is located under the main terrace. Access is via external Pelion stone steps that lead from the pool terrace. The path leads through the gardens to a private graveled courtyard, shaded with vines and Bougainvillea. Inside the layout is a single large room with sitting area a double bed and a sitting area / sofa bed as well as en-suite shower/WC. The guest cottage is also fully air conditioned. Note The main house and guest cottage are only rented together, thus ensuring total privacy on the entire property. The main house can sleep two people in the double room plus an optional childrens bed The Mezzanine can sleep two people (A fan can take care of cooling needs here) The guest cottage can sleep 4 people - usually a family Guest access Access to main house, swimming pool and guest house. Other things to note If you want to rent a car, it will be a good idea if the car has 4-wheel drive, as the road from the house up to the main road is steep and a bit narrow. The owners of the house and most of the guests make do with regular 2WD cars. We always have cats around the house to keep rats and snakes away. At the moment, there are some very sweet kittens at the house. The youngest are four months old and the oldest are six months old, and they are all very friendly. All the cats are outdoor cats and are not allowed inside the house. 🙂 There is cat food in the house, and they will be very happy if you would feed them now and then. I hope this is ok.
