The Peninsula Vaal Dam / Skier Estate Game Farm

A very comfortable family home within a game farm on the Peninsula of the Vaal Dam. We have a private water front for launching your boat or fishing. There are many acacia trees on the property for you to laze under. In the evenings you can get a bonfire going in the boma. You can run, cycle, or just walk around the estates 10km’s of dirt road to check out the area The space We have the most amazing sunsets over the dam as the property faces west. You often see game on the front lawn. The lounge is one of our favorite comfy spots for you to enjoy. There is a fully kitted kitchen for you to prepare your meals in. You can use the boma for bonfires and braai’s. There is a drum braai for your use. There is a camp cot for a small child if needed. A cleaning lady can be arranged if required at R250 a day There is a washing machine for you to use There is one kayak available We have a family of 3 otters down at the waters edge but they are difficult to spot Other things to note Self catering. Bring own coffee, tea and sugar. Bring fire wood and charcoal for braai and bonfires. There is a gas braai for you to use. We have various sized potjie pots you can use. Bring your own bottled water if you don’t like bore hole water. Bring swimming towels. Bring beach umbrellas or gazebo The dirt roads can be a challenge during the rain season but our little car does fine. 4x4 required for launching your boat. Bring sun block and hats
