Like being lost in paradise, looking over the Rosario Islands where you can rest,enjoy the nature and watersports, 100% relax and privacy.Full equiped and comfortable house with 4 bedrooms with private bathroom. Better impossible! The space Welcome to our Beach House – called Azores – it is situated 45 minutes from Cartagena de Indias, at Punta Blanca – Barú. It has beautiful views over the Islas de Rosario (10 minutes in boat). It is the perfect place for privacy and relax together with the whole family or with a group of friends. The ideal spot if you want to enjoy watersports and get to know the Caribbean food, wildlife and flora. The house has 300 m2 in 2 floors and a private beach. There are 4 bedrooms with space for up to 18 persons: - 2 rooms with 1 kingsize and 2 separate beds - 1 room with 1 kingsize and 3 seperate bed - 1 room with 5 separate beds Every room has his private bathroom with toilet and shower with fresh water (not adjustable and not drinkable). There is fresh tap water available in the kitchen. We don´t have warm water. There are 2 relaxing areas (1 inside and 1 outside) with hammocks for your siesta or reading your favorite book. The house has: - Totally equipped kitchen (oven and microwave included) - Barbecue - Fridge and freezer - Icemaker - Sheets, pillows and towels - Table games - 2 kayaks - Music equipment (CD/USB and Ipod/Phone/Pad connection) - Sunscreen and 8 sunbeds There are a lot of activities you can do in the area: Scubadiving – Jetski – Hiking – Kayaks, etc. We can help you with organizing what you would like to do (using external companies). On top of that you can go on daily trips: Route around the Islas de Rosario – Visit the Aquarium – Have fun in Playa Blanca – Eat in Cholon – Get to know the Mangrove forest – Visit Barú village. If you would like to make any daily trips we can help you organize them together with local transportation and ask them for an offer.. The rentprice of the house is including a person who is responsible for the cleaning and who can assist with cooking. En case there is need for extra help when there is a bigger group (more tan 8 persons); we will have to charge separately (20 US$/day). The price is excluding food and beverages (we can of course prepare everything for you, please contact us for the prices) because normally all the guests take their groceries from Cartagena together with the boat; there is a small supermarket in the village of Barú with basic products but more expensive. Of course we have our local fisherman from who we can always buy fresh fish or seafood. The best way to reach our house is by boat with fixed schedule; There are different options: - Local transport from the Bazurto Market in Cartagena (10-12US$ per person and an extra plus depending on who much luggage you bring). - Private boat – max 20 persons (400US$ return trip. Prices are estimated. - If you have a 4x4 truck you can reach Barú city, we can find a boat who will pick you from there. Other things to note There is an generator available when there is any power cut for your convenience. We have 2 water tanks (of 25 and 13 ton) where we keep the water that comes by boat from Cartagena, besides that we recollect all rainfall possible as there is a water scarcity. Also we separate as much as possible the garbage to minimize the environmental impact. All garbage that we can´t dispose off we bring to Barú and leave it in the garbage containers.
