18th century, cosy cottage in downtown Mariefred

Beautifully situated house in central Mariefred overlooking rooftops, Gripsholm Castle and Gripsholm Bay. The house is perfect for four people and is within a couple of minutes walking distance to the local grocery store, square and restaurants. The space As depicted in the pictures, the house is the epitome of traditional Swedish style with its red wooden frame. Inside you'll find wooden floors and tiled round ovens. Guest access You will have access to both floors that the house offers. On the ground floor, there is a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, a small cozy reading room, a living room with TV and a bathroom. In the upper floor there are the two bedrooms. One bedroom with a double bed (200*180cm) and the other bedroom with two single beds (200*90cm) The house is located on the same lot as the host's house, but a lovely syrenberså is located that surrounds the house's patio and ensures full privacy. For your stay, bed linens and towels will be provided. Other things to note The house is from the 18th century, build in traditional Swedish style. This means that the ceiling is lower than in modern houses, especially on the upper floors. As mentioned above, the house is sharing grounds with the house of your hosts. This means that the entrance to the grounds is shared.
