This spacious home is set in complete privacy, yet within walking distance to the cafes, restaurants, shops and railway station of this historic market town. Sweeping views and airy rooms will have you relaxed and enjoying your stay in no time! Outdoor areas upgraded for 2021 with enlarged and brand new patio facilities. The space There is abundant parking at the property, and it is only a short stroll to the shops for supplies, or a mile to the the local farm shop for top quality produce - or perhaps a delicious breakfast at the cafe! From the house you can walk to the train station and jump on one of the frequent trains to Lincoln. Alternatively you could visit Belton House or RAF Cranwell. A new shop has opened on London Road in Sleaford, less than half a mile from the house and a pleasant flat stroll. The Handley Chase Co-Op is open early until late, and sells a large range of food, drinks etc. Inside the property on the ground floor you will find a large hallway with WC off, leading to a spacious and bright kitchen with family room, utility room and boot room off the kitchen. The kitchen comes with kettle, toaster, coffee machine, dishwasher and large fridge freezer, plus a large range of cutlery/crockery. The utility has a washing machine, tumble dryer and hanging space. The family room has large sofa (which can be used as bed for a 7th guest if wished) and armchair, with glorious views out of patio doors across the fields. There is a range of games and family activities available here. Last but not least on this floor is the sitting room with wood burner, television, DVD player etc. On the second floor you find a large elegant guest bedroom with a king sized bed and space for an additional single bed if wished (and/or cot if you bring a travel cot.) Next door is a single room with a single sofa bed in. There is a big family bathroom on this floor, including a bath with shower attachment. Finally on the top floor is another large bedroom with a king sized sofa bed, and space for an additional single bed (and travel cot if brought) if wished. There is a small sofa in here, and it could be used as a retreat for children, or for a small group if the house is shared by two families. There is a range of children’s books and toys in this room. A shower room can be found on this floor. Outdoors is a large, completely private garden with glorious sweeping views over countryside. A flat lawn is ideal for a range of games (supplied) such as croquet, boules, quoits or badminton. Or simply relax, or eat outside if the weather is favourable. Outdoor table and chairs are supplied, plus a large stand alone hammock for snoozing with a book. Guest access This is a five bedroom house that you will have for your sole use - no one else on site - however only three bedrooms will be accessible to your party. Two bedrooms and the garage will not be accessible during your stay (and these are not shown in the photos of the property.) All the rest of the rooms shown will be. Other things to note We will leave tea, coffee, and a range of cereals for breakfast. Cooking essentials such as oil, salt and pepper will also be available. The house is airy and spacious and can sleep up to 7 adults if needed. That includes using the large downstairs sofa so for maximum comfort we would recommend up to 6 adults. Or a family of 7 if that includes an infant in a cot.
