Historic Cod house in village setting

Our home is a quirky and unusual Merchant's Cod House of historical significance, with many original Georgian features - from large mahogany doors, high ceilings, winding staircase and open fireplaces. Set in a quiet rural parish, but within walking distance to Bonne Nuit Bay, a little fishing harbour with a small sandy beach. The house is full of character and history, interesting architecture, but is still, very much a loved family home. The space PLEASE READ BEFORE MAKING A BOOKING. There is a minimum 6 night stay over the peak summer months July, August and September. Sometimes there maybe 3 or 4 nights free so I can have booking flexibility. PLEASE DO NOT book or block off dates before you make an enquiry. Make the enquiry first to check availability. Jersey is an Independent State and has its own travel rules and regulations, which may differ from the UK. A passport is needed to enter the island, even those travelling from the EU. During the rest of the year it is a minimum stay of 3 nights. I can accommodate up to 5 people. There are 3 bedrooms available and two bathrooms plus a wash room. There are 2 rooms with a Queen sized bed in each room, suitable for 2 sharing in each bedroom and one double bedroom for single occupancy. One Queen room has a bathroom adjacent to the bedroom the other queen room has a bathroom on the upper floor, this does mean a set of stairs to the next level. There is also a separate toilet and wash basin on the lower floor. If there are two couples visiting then each couple has their own bathroom. If it is a group booking and either two or three rooms are booked then two bathrooms will be shared between the group. Each queen room is £120per night for 2 sharing. The single is £100 per night. There is a separate price for 3 people sharing as 2 rooms are used, therefore please contact me to book this option. The double bedroom is for single use only and this is reflected in the reduced price. Each room is very individual, providing all that is necessary for a comfortable stay and we will always try and provide extras where necessary- extra bedding and pillows, dressing gowns etc. We provide a continental breakfast with, a selection of cereals, fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, toast and croissants jams and honey, tea, coffee and juice. During longer stays I vary the breakfast. We are happy to accommodate children over 14 years of age but unfortunately not small children as the house is unsuitable for little people. During your stay We are more than happy to interact and socialise with guests but also realise people value their privacy and need to have a relaxing and comfortable stay. To that end, we would try and help where needed and provide as much information when requested, either personally or by telephone if we are not around. We can recommend, restaurants, places to visit and directions. We are also happy for guests to use the garden. We have plenty of off street parking. Other things to note Jersey has several companies renting out electric bikes. Evie bikes usually have bikes to hire 2 mins walk from the house. During the summer months it is best to pre hire either cars or bikes.
